Robert Habermeier is a founding engineer of the Polkadot Network. During his 7-year tenure at Parity, Robert was responsible for the vast majority of Proof-of-Stake and consensus code for Polkadot and its underlying framework Substrate, including the code for parachain consensus. His technical leadership actively informed and shaped the Polkadot protocol design we know today. Prior to his work on Polkadot, Robert was a core developer on the Parity-Ethereum client, the first production-ready third-party Ethereum node.
